The following policies pertain to ALL student workers at CAIDS. This is a voluntary and accountable internship program.
All student workers are expected to maintain a collegial attitude and demonstrate respect towards colleagues, support staff, and supervisors. This includes being punctual, adhering to deadlines, and actively participating in team meetings and discussions OR proactively communicating when impediments arise.
All student workers must clock-in and clock-out to track the hours that they work on the Tulane Kronos Website. If a student worker holds multiple on campus jobs, they must select “Teaching Aid” from the drop-down menu titled “Change Cost Center.”
Be aware of the hours you are logging. If you forget to clock-in or clock-out, you are able to submit a time change request through Kronos. At the end of each pay-period, your time change requests will either be approved or denied.
Taxes: ****Tulane takes out taxes on your pay. Don’t forget to file your taxes! The national tax day is April 15th, and the Louisiana state tax day is May 15th.
CAIDS undergraduate student workers are paid $18.00 an hour and CAIDS graduate student workers are paid $20.00 an hour. Student workers work following:
If you need to exceed the number of hours listed for your program, then you must inform Dr. Howard. Student workers will be paid biweekly via direct deposit
